Week 153 – From Oldham to Saltaire

On this weeks show Damon follows the travels of one Wurlitzer though its journey from the Gaumont in Oldham to its current location, the Victoria Hall Saltaire. we follow the sounds of the organ through it’s time at Oldham, Hampswaite, Pudsey, Brighouse and Saltaire. This beautiful Wurlitzer is sounding in fine form and its all thanks to the Cinema Organs Society’s Northern District. Artists incude, Lyn Larsen, Arnold Loxam, Simon Gledhill and many more!
